Bright Star Promotions, Inc. extends an invitation to you to participate in the Second Annual Teddy Bear Show and Sale. We are moving to the Westshore Hotel in Tampa wish is offering us an elegant shopping environment for our collectors and free shuttele from the airport. Come, join the fun! Fill out the application and mail it today!
TABLES - Size is 8' x 30'. Chairs are included. You must provide your own attractive table cover that extends to the floor on all three sides. Electricity will be provided at no extra charge. If you wish extra lights you must provide your own heavy-duty extension cords, connectors, and tape. Smoking outside the hotel only.
FEE Table fee is $185.00 for each EIGHT foot table. Dealers may not share tables, nor may they sell or give their tables to other dealers. The $40.00 registration fee is non-refundable & non-transferable. Balance due one month before the show.
No refunds after 1/24/08. Service fee of $15.00 on returned checks.
SET-UP TIME Dealers may begin setting up at 7 a.m. through the convention doors located to the rear of the hotel or through the lobby entrance. Please unload quickly so others can experience by-the-door convenience. NO EARLY BIRDS please. A place card will mark your booth area. You must be set-up and ready by show time. Before the show, there will be a brief dealer meeting. No early departures. Please dress professionally and warm. No very casual sports clothes or shorts.
LODGING The Westshore Hotel offers sleeping rooms at the special rate of $119.00++ Call now! (813) 282-3636 and ask for the Teddy Bear Show block of rooms. FOOD Specail lunch plates are offered at $9.00 each as hotel regulations prohibit bringing fast-food into the showroom. Please indicate on the application how many lunches you wish. You'll be greeted with hot coffee and pastries. Please eat behind your booth.
DOOR PRIZES We expect you to donate a bear related door prize. It is awarded to a lucky customer during the show. A value of at least $10.00 would greatly be appreciated. We thank you for your contribution and participation in this promotional plan. PETS No pets will be allowed in the showroom at any time.
MERCHANDISE All items for display and sale must be in keeping with Teddy bear collecting. Bring ample merchandise. Clearly mark it with the price. No selling under fair market value. This is a retail show. Each table will be reviewed before the show opens, and items of poor taste or not conforming must be removed. No flashing lighted signs, TV, radios or music playing in your booth area. Displays must be confined to the area represented by the table size. No displays or merchandise in the aisles. Our pricing and show rules are strictly enforced. Attach sales receipts, with your company name, to the bags.
SHOW VIP PASSES - VIP passes are a wonderful way to invite your favorite collectors to the show. You are paying half price for their admission tickets to the show. Just write AFree Pass@ on the back of your business card or be creative and print free passes from your computer. Mail them to your customers. Near the end of the show we will collect $3.00 for each VIP pass that was present to us. Artists who take advantage of this offer are seeing remarkable improvement in their sales.
ADVERTISING Prior to the show, you can request show fliers, postcards and discount coupons to send to your customers. Let them know you'll be in the area and invite them to the show. Local advertising and our own mailing list will alert the collectors also. Send photographs of your bears to be included in our Sneak Preview Web site section or selected for the collector=s postcard. JPG files are welcomed. We all must do our part to make the show terrific!
SERVICE OFFERED Don't let a sale get away because you do not have MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express, Bright Star Promotions, Inc. Vendor Services will process the charges for you. This procedure will be explained during the dealer meeting. Ask for a charge card sign to put on your table. This service is available to you at other shows. Ask us how.
TAX COLLECTION The State of Floria requires all dealers to be registered before the show opens. Please indicate your State Tax Number on the show application.
BADGES All dealers and helpers will be issued a badge and it must be worn throughout the show.
BEST OF SHOW CONTEST - Enter one of your bears, prior to the show's opening, one bear only please. The collector will vote for the bear they like best. Ribbons will be awarded around 2:30 p.m. You'll be featured in Bears&Bud's Webzine. Collectors love choosing their favorite.
