Cinci-Erlanger Teddy Bear Show Review 2009

Bright Star Promotions' Annual Show was held at the Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport in Erlanger, KY - Sunday September 27, 2009
Prior to the opening of the show, Valerie Rogers, the show's promoter presented Donna Manthey (Bearly Pawsing) with a Winners Certificate. Her bear was selected for the collector's invitation postcards. Way to go Donna!	Collector's postcard sent to the area collectors. Ken Yenke Appraises Vintage Bears
Ken explains the history of old bears and Norma V. brought him several teddy bears all over 100 years old. Look for Ken at many show or at civic speaking engagements.	Kathleen C. showed Ken a Steiff, Strauss and American bears who were all over 100 years old too! Read the complete appraisal feature article.	Sheryl L. brought in two English Peacock bears dating from the 1914's. She was thrilled to learn their history and value!
Ken Yenke and his wife Brenda, love teddy bears and most of their collection can be seen at the Chelsea Teddy Bear Factory and Toy Museum in Chelsea, Michigan where he is curator.
Collector's Choice Contest
The Collector's Choice Top Winners: Valerie Rogers announces Donna Hager, Dian Pete and Jacqui Pollitt. Each wondering who would be in first place!		The collectors attending the show voted for the bear they like best and the artists win ribbons and gifts. "It's so hard to pick just one favorite. They are all so wonderful," commented several collectors.
Dian Pete (Bears for Pete's Sake) won a third place for her aqua color Tiffany Mohair Teddy Bear.	Donna Hager (Hager Bears) won a second place ribbon for her little girl bear.	First place went to Jacquie Pollitt (Threadbears) who's winning bears Juniper and Aniuk were sold during the show.
