Bright Star Promotions, Inc. sponsored the First Annual Teddy Bear Show held at the
Best Western Diplomat Hotel in Lakeland, Florida on March 11, 2007
Artists' teddy bears were entered in the contest and the collectors chose their favorite bear. It was definitely a hard choice to pick just one from the 16 entries. "It's fun to participate in contests!" said Carol Hess, "I think the collectors enjoyed it too!"

 The warm Florida sun shown bright on March 11 and collectors came out to meet the artists from as far away as Belgium, France and Germany. Area teddy bear club members spent the day catching up with their artists friends and of course, adding more bears to their collections.

We all are looking forward to returning next year and meeting each other at other shows too. Bear artists and their associates are a big happy family who meet in various towns across the world; sharing their love for the magical furry teddy bears.
 


Terrie Stong, Executive Chairbear of Good Bears of the World attended and encouraged everyone to give hugs and buy bears!
