Please check your Evert Fresh Green Bag supply and be sure you have fresh, new bags for this coming season! After 10-12 uses, the Green Bags have absorbed the Ethylene gas and aren't quite as effective as a new Green Bag. We have had reports that the Green Bags last much longer but we suggest always having new Green Bags on hand. Order more Green Bags now.
 I ran across this original Chiquita banana commercial which was produced by Disney Studios in the 1940's on www.YouTube.com It is full of good advise!
This commercial was shown only in movie theaters. Its catchy tune has been on our minds ever since!
The smell of fresh strawberries makes our mouth water. Even though I have Green Bags, the carton of strawberries usually doesn't last more than an hour! We eat them quickly! If you plan to buy several cartons of strawberries, just remove the top and place the whole container in the Green Bag. The less you handle the berries, the longer they'll stay fresh. Rinse the berries off before eating.
 Spring also brings High School Proms. Keep the beautiful corsage fresh and lovely by placing it in an Evert Fresh Green Bag then into the refrigerator. Best is to put it in the vegetable drawer where the refrigerator temperatures are less severe.
